Ummm... the information that was in my bio was hopelessly out of date (as many of you would have guessed). So I've decided to update everything that I can think of, and keep them up to date. This means, logically, that I should also update my bio.
However, because I am extremely lazy and because my circumstances will change (in all probability), keeping my journal up to date would take time and effort. You are all probably wonderful people who are worthy of my time and effort, but not as much t & e as it would take to update every day. Thus, I have prepared an updates policy for your perusal.
MY UPDATES POLICY: (such as it is)
POLICY/
(1) I will update only when I think it absolutely necessary. This will not be often. Holding your breath while waiting for my updates is not advisable. You will turn purple & your lungs will implode (KIDS! don't try this at home!).
(2) Updates, if and when they occur, will be extremely general in nature. In all probability, will be light, fluffy and inconsequential in nature. So if you want a word, please consider the virtues of email. Email is fun. Email makes me happy. Email was invented for lazy people such as myself who can't be bothered writing letters on actual paper.
Unfortunately for those of you who wish to get in contact, there is no guarantee that an answer will be immediately forthcoming. I tend to forget to look at my email for weeks or months at a time (I told you I was lazy, I probably should have mentioned that my memory is pretty shocking as well). If you really really want to talk to me (and I haven't replied to your emails), then you should probably have a word with
nz_bookworm and he'll badger me until I reply.
(3) To save the time and effort of updating my bio every time my circumstances change, I have decided not to have one. This shouldn't be of any great loss to the world, because the people who know me already know who I am and what I'm doing, and those who don't know probably don't know where I keep my lj. Email is also a virtue in this situation.
(4) I am a friendly person. If you friend me, I'll friend you (but again, it might take a while).
/POLICY
Cheers!
